Build Something Bigger Than Yourself

TradeWise is building the next great construction workforce company in America.

We aren’t looking for employees. We’re looking for builders.

If you’re driven by winning new business, solving workforce challenges, and helping shape a company from the ground up, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact. You’ll have the autonomy to own your territory, the support to grow your business, and the ability to influence the direction of a rapidly growing organization.

We’re creating a culture built on accountability, ownership, urgency, and doing what we say we’ll do. The people who perform here won’t simply grow with the company. They’ll help define what it becomes.

Our Mission

To become the most trusted workforce solutions partner for construction companies across America by delivering exceptional people, building lasting relationships, and helping our clients successfully complete their most critical projects.

Why TradeWise?

We believe construction companies deserve more than a staffing vendor.

They deserve a workforce partner.

We differentiate ourselves through:

  • Fast, responsive decision making
  • Strong relationships with skilled construction professionals
  • A safety-first culture
  • Executive level accessibility and support
  • Long term partnerships instead of transactional placements
  • An ownership mentality that drives better service

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced, self-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across a multi-state territory.

This role is designed for true hunters. Professionals who enjoy opening doors, creating relationships, winning new accounts, and building a book of business from the ground up.

You’ll spend significant time meeting customers where they work, on construction sites, in project offices, and at corporate headquarters, becoming the trusted workforce advisor for some of the industry’s best contractors.

This position offers a high level of autonomy. We hire professionals and trust them to build their business.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop new construction clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in person prospecting.
  • Build relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, and decision makers throughout your territory.
  • Generate new logo acquisition while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution and account growth.
  • Maintain an organized sales pipeline and accurate forecasting within our CRM.
  • Represent TradeWise professionally at client meetings, project sites, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Travel throughout your assigned territory to support customer relationships and business development.

Who Thrives Here

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Thinks like an owner.
  • Is highly competitive and motivated by winning.
  • Doesn’t need micromanagement.
  • Builds trust quickly.
  • Enjoys being on construction projects and around customers.
  • Takes pride in creating long term partnerships.
  • Has a strong work ethic and follows through on commitments.
  • Wants to help build something, not simply work somewhere.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in construction staffing, construction sales, or business development.
  • Established network within the construction industry preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed sales goals.
  • Strong cold calling, prospecting, and relationship building skills.
  • Comfortable working on active construction sites.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Experience maintaining a disciplined sales pipeline within a CRM.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout assigned markets.

What We Offer

  • Realistic first year On Target Earnings of $120,000+ with uncapped commission.
  • Base salary plus monthly gas and cell phone stipend.
  • Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
  • Remote flexibility with full ownership of your territory.
  • Direct access to executive leadership.
  • The opportunity to help build a high growth company from the ground up.
  • A culture where performance, integrity, and initiative are recognized and rewarded.

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Cell phone reimbursement
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance
