Job description

TradeWise Staffing is hiring Skilled Remodel Workers for commercial remodeling projects in the Austin, TX areas. Workers will assist with remodeling gas station locations and should be comfortable working in active commercial construction environments.


This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for qualified candidates who are dependable, skilled, safety-minded, and able to follow jobsite direction efficiently.


Responsibilities

  • Commercial remodel work
  • Demo and tear-out
  • Millwork installation
  • Tile work
  • Countertop installation assistance
  • Soda fountain area remodels
  • General finish work
  • Light carpentry and punch work
  • Material handling and jobsite cleanup
  • Using tape measures, drills, hand tools, and power tools
  • Following direction from supervisors and jobsite leads
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area


Requirements

  • Previous construction, remodeling, carpentry, or finish work experience preferred
  • Ability to use hand tools, drills, tape measures, and power tools
  • Ability to follow jobsite direction safely and efficiently
  • Reliable transportation to and from assigned jobsite locations
  • Required PPE, including hard hat, safety vest, work boots, and safety glasses
  • Strong attendance and work ethic
  • Ability to work on your feet, lift materials, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor
  • Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced remodel environment
  • Must meet all site safety and appearance requirements


Pay

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and project fit
  • Temp-to-perm opportunity available for qualified workers


Ideal Tradesperson

The ideal tradesperson has experience in commercial remodeling, finish work, or general construction and is comfortable using tools, reading a tape measure, assisting with installations, and keeping the project moving safely and efficiently.
