Job Description Summary:
About the Internship:

As a Sales Development Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience alongside some of the most talented professionals in the industry, learning the fundamentals of sales, business development, and the healthcare technology space. If you're curious, ambitious, and passionate about starting a career in tech sales, this internship will give you a front-row seat to how a high-performing sales demand generation team drives growth in a company that's truly modernizing medicine.
What You'll Do:
  • Partner with Sales Development Managers and Team Leads to support lead generation efforts and market outreach initiatives.
  • Research target accounts and identify key stakeholders within healthcare organizations across different medical specialties.
  • Build prospect lists, analyze potential opportunities, and prepare lead insights before passing them to the SDR or RSM team.
  • Engage prospects through creative outreach - including phone calls, email, and LinkedIn - to spark interest and generate qualified leads.
  • Learn to articulate the value of ModMed's solutions and understand how our technology helps transform medical practices.
  • Shadow SDRs and participate in live calls to gain exposure to discovery and sales conversations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activity within Salesforce and Groove.
  • Contribute ideas to improve team processes and outreach strategies.
