This role will support the delivery of AWD/SSC Chorus efforts for our NF Flagship Post Issue Optimization effort. In this position, you will build intelligent workflow & distribution solutions through business configurable technology that will directly support our sales, new business, and post issue service teams. These products will help to advance our business goals & strategic objectives through close partnerships with technology and business leaders to support the growth of our business and improve the overall experience for our members, partners, and associates.
Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of AWD/SSC Chorus across Nationwide Financial.
  • Build and implement technology solutions through business configuration.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to align solutions with business objectives
  • Validate that technology solutions support business strategy and delivery expected benefits.
  • Engage in cross functional collaboration, partnering with various stakeholders and project/product team members.
  • Monitor and adhere to service KPIs.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot complex workflow configuration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business users.
Role Required Skills
  • In depth knowledge of AWD/SSC Chorus design principles and system integrations (AWD Configuration).
  • Extensive experience in workflow distribution platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborates with Business Capability Owner on prioritization and develops requirements throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure business objectives and solution vision are being met.
  • Conducts competitive analysis on customer, product landscape and business segment specific competitors across multiple lines of business and experiences. Presents findings and recommendations to Business Capability Managers and/or Owners.
  • Assesses organizational impact for organizational change management planning. Coordinates communication and training and is accountable for overall business readiness. Provides recommendations to the Business Capability Manager and/or Owner and agile team.
  • Keeps up on the latest industry trends as well as customer needs and behaviors.
  • Serves as a source of expertise for direction, mentoring and guidance for less experienced analysts.
  • Participates in agile ceremonies, daily stand ups, show and tells, iteration planning and retrospectives.
  • Partners with Business Capability Manager to define KPIs that measure effectiveness of the product and journey with customers. Works with team to identify areas focus and provides insights to product and journey owner for prioritization.
  • Leads and execute design and development on business configurable tools where applicable in support of operational partners.

Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Bachelors degree in business, IT or related field with advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Typically, 7 or more years of demonstrated experience delivering initiatives and conducting customer research to inform value-based solutions. Experience delivering work in an agile environment, leveraging product-centric principles and managing large scale initiatives with multiple dependencies.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Deep knowledge of insurance industry. In depth understanding of agile planning practices and customer centric design. Strong command of verbal and written communication skills in addition to facilitation techniques. Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative information and summarize for consumption by all levels. Ability to develop recommendations and influence the strategic vision and multi-year product roadmap. Strong business process design skills and ability to communicate findings in a clear and concise manner. Ability to work interpedently and manage large, complex tasks that span different subject matters.
Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
