Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced SharePoint & Workflow Developer to support a large-scale Enterprise Content Management (ECM) migration from IBM FileNet to SharePoint Online. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing SharePoint-based solutions, workflows, and migration strategies while working closely with business and IT stakeholders onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
ECM Migration (FileNet โ†’ SharePoint Online):
Lead and support migration of content, metadata, and workflows from IBM FileNet to SharePoint Online
Analyze existing FileNet repositories, document classes, and workflows
Design mapping strategies
Work with migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix, or custom migration utilities)
Ensure data integrity, validation, and reconciliation post-migration
SharePoint Online Development:
Design and develop solutions using SharePoint Online (Modern Experience)
Develop solutions using - SPFx (SharePoint Framework) & JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs
Implement governance and best practices for SharePoint architecture
Integrate SharePoint Enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, CRM, legacy systems)
Develop custom APIs and connectors
Work Closely with Onsite team such as Business stakeholders, Architects & Migration teams as well as offshore team
Conduct workshops, requirement gathering, and demos onsite
Handle escalations and critical production issues
Workflow Development:
Design and develop workflows using - Power Automate (preferred) & SharePoint Designer (legacy workflows, if applicable)
Re-engineer FileNet workflows into SharePoint-based processes
Integrate workflows with external systems
Ensure performance optimization and error handling in workflows

Required Skills & Experience:
* Experience in ECM migration strategies and execution
* Strong experience in SharePoint Online (O365)
* Expertise in: SPFx (SharePoint Framework), JavaScript / TypeScript & HTML/CSS
* Hands-on experience with Power Automate workflows
* Experience with migration tools (ShareGate / Metalogix / AvePoint)
* Knowledge of REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API
* Experience with Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions โ€“ plus)
* Strong understanding of IBM FileNet P8: Document classes, metadata, Content Engine,  Process Engine, FileNet workflows
