Our client, a well-established plaintiff-side firm in Atlanta, is seeking a dedicated professional to support both litigated and non-litigated workers’ compensation matters.

💼 About the Workers’ Compensation Paralegal Role

You will play a critical role in managing a full caseload from intake through resolution, supporting attorneys on both litigation and non-litigation matters while serving as a key point of contact for clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage 80–90 workers’ compensation cases (litigation + non-litigation mix)
  • Coordinate medical records collection and review
  • Prepare and file workers’ compensation forms and legal documents
  • Support discovery, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
  • Maintain case calendars and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Serve as a primary contact for clients, providing updates and guidance
  • Assist with settlement and mediation support
  • Utilize case management software (Needles) to track and manage files

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in workers’ compensation (claimant/plaintiff side strongly preferred)
  • Open to candidates with 1+ year of experience in WC, personal injury, SSDI, or disability law
  • Strong organizational and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage sensitive client interactions with empathy and professionalism
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and take direction
