The Atlanta Office in Alpharetta, GA is looking for a Workers’ Compensation Associate to join our growing team.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues.
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases.
  • Maintain billable hours as necessary.
  • Manage client relationships and a caseload with supervision.
  • Assist in the representation of clients in motion practice, conferences, mediations, and trial when and where necessary.


Position Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and an active license in good standing in Georgia.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in litigation (judicial clerks will be considered).
  • Experience in Workers’ Compensation Defense work preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
  • Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

This is a hybrid position.


The salary range for this position is $95,000-$135,000 and represents C&W’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
