Overview:
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Testing Lead to lead end-to-end testing activities for a large-scale enterprise transformation program. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on testing leadership experience, excellent stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to manage complex testing cycles across globally distributed, multi-vendor teams.
Experience Required
  • 8-12 years of overall experience in Software Testing
  • 3-5 years in a Test Lead or Test Manager role
Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Key Responsibilities
• Test Strategy & Planning
  • Lead execution of the overall testing strategy, ensuring alignment with program objectives, scope, and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts across testing phases including SIT, UAT, Regression, and Parallel Testing.
  • Define test scope, dependencies, entry/exit criteria, success metrics, and overall quality goals for each test cycle.
• Test Data & Environment Readiness
  • Coordinate with functional, technical, DBA, and environment teams to ensure accurate and timely availability of test data.
  • Validate environment readiness ahead of test cycles, including refreshes, configurations, and access.
  • Partner with infrastructure and technical teams to ensure system stability during execution.
• Test Execution & Coordination
  • Lead daily testing execution across multiple workstreams and ensure adherence to defined schedules.
  • Monitor test progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and drive timely issue resolution.
  • Coordinate with SMEs, developers, transformation partners, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution.
• Defect Management & Triage
  • Drive structured defect triage sessions, including review, prioritization, assignment, and resolution tracking.
  • Maintain defect lifecycle visibility and ensure closure within agreed SLAs.
  • Analyze defect trends and root causes to identify quality risks and improvement areas.
• Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner closely with business users during UAT, ensuring clarity on scripts, validations, and acceptance criteria.
  • Communicate testing status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans through concise, structured reporting.
  • Facilitate formal test sign-offs and maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Quality Assurance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all testing deliverables meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to minimize business impact.
  • Promote best-practice testing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Tools
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks (SIT, UAT, Regression, Automation).
  • Hands-on experience with test and defect management tools such as:
    • JIRA
    • ALM / HP QC
    • Azure DevOps
    • qTest or similar platforms
  • Experience working on enterprise transformation programs (Oracle, SAP, Workday, custom platforms).
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience working with multi-vendor and globally distributed teams.
