Job description

We are seeking a Sr Software Engineer (Workday Integration) to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Workday and other enterprise systems.

About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in integration design and development, with a focus on Workday integrations.
  • Proficiency in Workday integration tools and technologies, API development, and data mapping/transformation.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA for managing user stories, tasks, and sprints.
  • Workday Integration Certification(s) preferred.

  • If you also have experience in XML, XSLT, Workday Studio

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and design scalable, efficient solutions aligned to business needs.
  • Develop and implement integrations using Workday tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Web Services, BIRT, Custom Reports, and Integration Cloud Connectors.
  • Design and build API-based and custom integrations, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and smooth data flow between systems.
  • Define data mappings and transformations, manage data synchronization, and troubleshoot integration issues with proper root cause analysis.
  • Perform end-to-end testing, support existing integrations (including payroll), and create documentation, guidelines, and training for users and stakeholders.

About the Team
We are a central Public Cloud enablement team called "Cloud Operations" that provide operations and compliance guidance for existing and new deployments. Our purpose is to guide the technology teams with their Public Cloud adoption following Clarivate standards and practices.You will be part of a fast-growing organization and a dynamic Workday Integration team who is responsible for maintaining and Enhancing the existing Workday application for Workers across the globe. We are using multiple HCM modules and looking to incorporate more modules in future. On high level it has two major teams as Configurations (HRT) and Integrations (HRIS), you will be working as a Senior Software Engineer who supports and Enhances Integrations from India along with the other 3 technical resources.We do have few team members in United States who also supports in different roles.

Hours of Work

  • Fulltime
  • 45 h/week- 2- 11 PM IST
  • Hybrid working model (office and home based)
