SFS/Merito Group  is looking for a Sr HRIS specialist that specializes in Workday to support their client.
Salary range 90,000-100,000
Senior HRIS Analyst (Workday)
Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid - 2 Days/Week in Office).
Duration: 3-month contract with potential full-time conversion based on performance.
Position Overview: 
Seeking an experienced Senior HRIS Analyst with strong Workday expertise to support a collaborative HRIS team responsible for Workday, UKG Workforce Management (WFM), and other shared services platforms. This role will serve as the primary resource for Workday reporting and/or security administration while partnering closely with HR and business stakeholders to support critical HR systems and processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday reporting and/or security administration.
  • Create, edit, maintain, and troubleshoot Workday reports.
  • Configure and maintain Workday security roles and user access.
  • Investigate and resolve HRIS issues through a helpdesk-style support model.
  • Partner closely with the HRIS team and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Analyze large datasets and perform data validation using advanced Excel skills.
  • Learn and support the organization's HRIS environment, including Workday and UKG Workforce Management.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3–7 years of Workday experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday Reporting and/or Workday Security.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience working with large spreadsheets and complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • No degree or certifications are required.
Team Environment:
  • Join a team of 10 HRIS professionals supporting Workday, UKG Workforce Management, and shared services.
  • Work closely with team members across the organization.
  • This position serves as the primary support resource for reporting and/or security functions, making it a highly visible and impactful role.
