Title: Workday Functional Analyst

Location: Washington, DC - onsite

Duration: 6 months with the possibility of extension

Interview: Selected candidates will participate in a phone screening and an online interview. The use of video conference tools (e.g., MS Teams or WebEx)

Job Description:

We are seeking one Workday Functional Analyst to augment the team.

The Contractor will provide support which includes troubleshooting Production issues, configuring Workday Finance application, performing end-to-end testing of integrations, reports and/or business processes. The Contractor would support the Production Workday environment, future releases, and the development of new solutions and enhancements.

Requirements:

The candidate shall also demonstrate the below knowledge and experience:

  • The ability to configure, implement, test, and document solutions in Workday Finance
  • Regression testing of the application and integrations for the upcoming Workday release
  • Excellent work ethic, communication and organizational skills
  • Possess experience with integrations in Workday (Orchestrate, Studio, EIB etc)
  • Partnering with stakeholders to define needs, analyze business processes, and design, test, and implement system solutions.
  • Configuring business processes and functional areas in Workday Finance to meet organizational requirements.
  • Research and develop solutions for the integration issues between Workday and Coupa system
  • Managing biannual Workday updates, analyzing feature releases, and implementing new functionalities
  • Document project deliverables such as requirements specification, design and test results

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Workday Financials functional experience (not HCM-focused).
  • Strong experience configuring Workday Finance modules and business processes.
  • Proven production support experience in a live Workday Financials environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday integrations including Studio, EIB, and Orchestrate.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving Workday Finance integration issues.
  • Prior experience integrating Workday with Coupa or other procurement systems is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing Workday biannual releases, regression testing, and UAT activities.
  • Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and business analysis skills.
  • Ability to document requirements, configurations, testing results, and solution designs.
  • Experience partnering with Finance teams to implement and enhance Workday solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams.
