Location: Calabasas, CA (Onsite)

Overview

Fusion HCR is seeking a Workday Financial Systems Administrator with a strong systems/IT background and experience supporting Workday Financials and Accounting Center.

This role sits at the intersection of Finance and IT, focused on maintaining system integrity, supporting configurations, and ensuring strong controls across the Workday platform.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically strong, and comfortable owning the system, while partnering closely with Finance stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Workday Financials, with a focus on Accounting Center
  • Perform system configurations, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance
  • Manage Workday security, user roles, and access controls aligned to audit and compliance standards
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and financial data outputs for business stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot system issues and partner with IT on integrations and data flows
  • Support system updates, testing, and release activities
  • Work directly with Finance teams to translate requirements into practical system solutions
  • Maintain documentation, processes, and best practices for system governance

Qualifications
  • 3–6+ years of experience supporting Workday Financials
  • Hands-on experience with Accounting Center (strongly preferred)
  • Background in IT systems administration, financial systems, or ERP support
  • Experience with:
    • Workday security & access controls
    • Configurations and system changes
    • Reporting and dashboards
  • Comfortable working between technical teams and Finance stakeholders
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the platform

Nice to Have
  • Workday certifications (preferred, not required)
  • Experience with Prism Analytics, budgeting, or forecasting modules
  • Exposure to integrations or working with IT on system connectivity
