Job description

Job Summary:
INSPYR Solutions is a national expert in delivering flexible technology and talent solutions. They are seeking an experienced Workday Financial Reporting Analyst to support a finance and procurement organization during a short-term reporting optimization project, focusing on enhancing Workday Financial reports and developing new reporting solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and enhance existing Workday Financial reports and dashboards developed during a recent Workday implementation.
• Design, build, and modify custom Workday reports to support Finance and Procurement operations.
• Develop reporting solutions for:
• Federal Financial Reports (FFR)
• Grants and program financial reporting
• Program income statements
• Budget-to-actual reporting
• Income and balance reporting
• CERF and other compliance-related reporting requirements
• Create executive and operational dashboards to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
• Collaborate with Finance Directors, Procurement leadership, and reporting stakeholders to gather requirements and validate report outputs.
• Provide recommendations on reporting best practices and Workday reporting capabilities.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and mentor internal team members on report development and maintenance.
• Participate in daily project discussions and progress meetings to ensure timely delivery of reporting solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Hands-on experience developing and modifying reports within Workday Financials.
• Strong understanding of Workday Reporting tools, including: Advanced Reports, Matrix Reports, Composite Reports, Dashboards, Calculated Fields.
• Experience supporting Finance and/or Procurement organizations.
• Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful financial reports and dashboards.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with finance stakeholders and leadership.
• Proven experience working independently in a remote consulting environment.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting grants management and federal reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of Federal Financial Reporting (FFR) processes and compliance reporting.
• Experience developing budget, program financial, and income statement reporting within Workday.
• Prior experience supporting government contractors, nonprofit organizations, higher education institutions, or federally funded organizations.
• Experience performing short-term project-based consulting engagements focused on Workday Financials optimization.
