WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Workday Financials modules including but not limited to Financial Accounting, Prism, Accounting Center, Procurement, Supplier Accounts, Supplier Contracts, Customer Accounts, Expenses, Cash Management, Business Assets
  • Address day-to-day production issues and be also involved in new process design initiatives and new module implementations projects
  • Provide on-demand support for the accounting/finance teams during month-end and year-end close activities
  • Support strategic initiatives with requirements gathering, functionality research, testing and implementation
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain Prism datasets, data sources, calculated fields, and dashboards to provide actionable financial insights.
  • Research and provide documentation for current and upcoming Workday capabilities
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to translate business requirements into Workday solutions (reports, dashboards, integrations, accounting rules).
  • Maintain and enhance Workday Financials security roles, ensuring proper data governance and compliance.
  • Drive reporting and analytics strategy, leveraging Prism and Workday-delivered reporting tools.
  • Support new module rollouts, system upgrades, and ongoing Workday releases by testing and validating functionality.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for Finance stakeholders.
  • Support the business with complex reporting and analytics requests

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 4+ years of experience working with Workday Finance in an implementation/consulting/technical support role
  • 2+ years implementing or supporting Workday Prism and/or Accounting Center
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong written skills to accommodate quality technical documentation
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Workday FIN Core and Workday Prism certification is preferred

AND IT'S GREAT TO HAVE:

  • Full project lifecycle and workday implementation experience
  • Subject Matter Expert in the following areas:
    • Financial Accounting: General Ledger, Allocations, Consolidations, Multicurrency, multibook accounting
    • Business Assets: Asset Tracking, Depreciation, ASC 842 lease accounting, multibook asset accounting
    • Bank & Settlement: First Notice Rules, Matching Rules, Cash Forecasting
    • Expenses: Corporate Credit Cards, Expense Reports
  • Strong understanding of ERP Systems, concepts, and touch points across various modules.
  • Understanding Finance business processes and reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with Workday Finance stakeholders
  • Ability to accurately collect information from business users to understand and assess the users' needs relative to Workday configuration
  • Ability to gain a thorough understanding of Workday concepts as new features are released
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple engagements and deliverables simultaneously
  • Ability to monitor, troubleshoot and debug Workday integrations
  • JIRA experience is a plus
  • Experience integrating billing and revenue from third party systems is a plus

Compensation for this role will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, geographic location, and market considerations. The anticipated compensation range for this position is -

United States = $93,600 - $111,000 USD; Canada = $84,400 - $101,500 CAD- annually. In addition to base compensation, eligible employees may be offered other forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commissions, equity, or other incentive programs, where applicable. Compensation and benefits may vary by location and are subject to applicable legal, business, and market requirements.
