Position Title: Mortgage Disclosure Representative 1
Business Unit: Mortgage Administration
Reports to: Manager of Mortgage Disclosures
Position Overview:
The position is primarily responsible for issuing initial disclosure and redisclosure packages within compliance of government regulations and investor guidelines and with the direction of the Manager of Compliance and Quality Control. The incumbent works in partnership with the mortgage compliance procedures and documents any changes in procedures and details level job aids. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing all incoming loans for data integrity.
Primary Responsibilities:
Reviews disclosure packages including loan estimate, for correct fees and compliance to regulations prior to producing the package to the borrower through the system. Facilitates correction to borrower email addresses if incorrect.
Reviews fee information from settlement agents and other data sources to ensure the most accurate fees are disclosed. Also ensures all fees disclosed are within regulatory tolerances.
Identifies and communicates any incorrect template structure for pre-populated fields within the system to facilitate a more efficient process.
Investigates and communicates with processors, MLO, supervisors and underwriters on taking corrective action to ensure compliance with TRID, QM, HOEPA, HPML and investor guidelines.
Stays current with constant changes in regulations and investor guidelines to ensure compliance. Completes required training in a timely manner and performs job duties in an exceptional professional manner.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
