Statement of the Job:

Your position will be based at the Learning Center in Tenant's Harbor, Maine. Kitchen staff work closely with the director to ensure the help to prepare healthy meals and to make sure the kitchen is kept at Maine State health code standards. This position is part-time seasonal (June- September).

Salary is $14.80-$17.26/hour based on experience

Required: 

• Ability to read, write and follow directions.
• No previous work experience required

Preferred: 

• High safety and sanitation standards
• Attention to detail
• Flexible, team player
• Training and/or experience in sanitation, food preparation and protection, hygiene, and record keeping

About Blueberry Cove 4-H Learning Center:

The 4-H Camp and Learning Centers provide environmentally focused programs for Maine youth and families. Our mission is to teach youth and adults to be effective and caring citizens of the earth through affordable environmental education and fun nature-based experiences. While having fun and experiencing the joys of being a part of the natural world, we emphasize community living, respect for all, and healthy relationships. Our programs encourage everyone to be themselves, learn from those around them, and make good decisions.
