THE POSITION
As a Corrections Stock Clerk for the Department of Corrections, you will help maintain order and efficiency within the institution. This position allows you to be a key player in organizing inventory and supporting daily operations. Your efforts will keep important materials moving safely through SCI Camp Hill. You will join a team that values dependability, teamwork, and steady performance.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This role supports the daily flow of materials and helps maintain secure and organized operations within the facility. As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will perform the following duties:
  • Inventory Control: Receive and track stock items while ensuring proper storage and accurate documentation
  • Commissary Tasks: Process inmate commissary orders and maintain complete transaction records
  • Inmate Oversight: Guide inmates in work tasks and maintain attendance and progress information
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other equipment to move heavy materials safely
  • Reporting Duties: Compile sales data, input inmate payroll information, and prepare reports

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a paid lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • Successful Completion of basic training of Elizabethtown, PA
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
