Job description

Facility:Work from Home - Hybrid - OhioDepartment:HIM/ Revenue IntegritySchedule:Full timeHours:40Job Details:Provides system expertise, education, analysis and data management for the following applications: Clearinghouse, EPIC and other applicable software applications. Works collaboratively with information services, in addition to other departments as necessary.
Will serve as an administrator for clearinghouse software to help create and maintain updates, included but not limited to new users, edits, and security.
Provide oversight as an administrator to all payer web portals, included but not limited to new users and security.
Serves as the gatekeep Revenue Cycle equipment needs, including maintaining inventory control of equipment, ordering new equipment when needed, and collaborating with IT business partners for additional equipment needs.
Will gather and analyze data from multiple sources (e.g. EPIC, data analytic systems, clearinghouse reports) to extract trends and business insights.

Department Specific Job Details:

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED + 5 years of progressive experience in a similar role required

  • Associates degree in related healthcare or business preferred.

Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of revenue cycle operation knowledge and system experience, running reports and interpreting information required

Revenue cycle operational knowledge: registration and eligibility, billing, payment posting

Revenue cycle system experience: epic, clearinghouses, web portals

  • Participating in projects

  • Collaborating with other departments

  • Excellent communication skills. Basic computer knowledge with proficiency in Microsoft office applications required.

  • Knowledge and experience with medical billing / collections required.

  • Epic experience required.
