Job description

Position Summary

Commercial General contractor seeking a Project manager/experienced assistant project manager, and/or Business Developer, and/or Estimator also considering  candidates with specific experience in a major trades such as (Roofing, HVAC, Electrical,Concrete, Utilities, Plumbing etc.)


Have you developed a key professional relationship with a client, supplier, or decision maker that can be utilized to propel your career? We are looking for motivated, driven individuals with key connections to expand the company with new growth opportunities.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Leadership

â—Ź Lead all phases of the project lifecycle including bidding, budgeting, scheduling, and procurement.

â—Ź Direct coordination among owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams.

â—Ź Chair project meetings and ensure clear communication of expectations, changes, and progress.

â—Ź Oversee and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, contracts, and change orders.


Financial & Risk Management

â—Ź Monitor and control project budgets, forecasts, billing, and profitability.

â—Ź Track labour, material, and subcontractor costs to prevent overruns.

â—Ź Price, prepare, and manage change requests and cost updates.

â—Ź Approve and submit invoices and ensure timely payment tracking.


Quality, Safety & Compliance

â—Ź Ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.

â—Ź Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

â—Ź Oversee compliance with OSHA standards.

â—Ź Proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact project performance.


Team Development & Client Relations


â—Ź Collaborate closely with the Site Superintendent to ensure seamless coordination between field and office operations, maintaining alignment on schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards.

â—Ź Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

â—Ź Engage with clients to understand their goals and deliver a positive experience.


Qualifications:

● A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or a combination of education, training, and relevant experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

â—Ź 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in construction management.

â—Ź Proven track record managing multiple projects or large-scale assignments.

â—Ź Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software.

â—Ź Deep knowledge of construction methods, contracts, building codes, and budgeting.

â—Ź Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

● Valid driver’s license required.
