RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Makes memorable first and last impressions with a smile.
  • Uses food and beverage menu knowledge to share favorites and provide recommendations..
  • Answers the phone in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Demonstrates teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise, ensuring every opportunity to WOW our guests is fulfilled. Teamwork is essential and expected of all Outbackers.
  • Accurately processes orders, accepts payment in a friendly and timely manner, anticipates guests needs while ensuring each order is complete and correct.
  • Commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to work in hot and cold environments.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping.
  • Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems.
  • Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Visual ability to include distance, close, color, depth and peripheral. Also, the ability to adjust focus as needed. The role involves working in areas with low or dim lighting.
  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to sell alcohol.
