General Description:
Superior Traffic Control, LLC is the largest traffic control company in the State of Tennessee with regional offices in Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Alabama and serves Northern Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. We bring the highest level of traffic control experience available to state, city, and private projects, ensuring the success and on-time completion of projects we are a part of.
The Estimator will be responsible for collecting necessary information and organizing documents to support the Chief Estimator in the preparation of competitive bids.
Job Requirements
  • Search local and national databases for new project opportunities
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret plans and construction materials to propose by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
  • Identify and provide deviations from the proposal, including scope and specifications
  • Prepare takeoffs by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
  • Create project management folders for each individual project for bidding. Conduct credit reviews for customers
  • Prepare special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Input data to show bid status and report of bid awards
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications
  • Create and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers through a CRM portal
  • Assist Estimator with daily job duties and tasks
  • Learn basic traffic control by attending the offered classes
  • Update sales pipeline and activity tracker with up-to-date notes, award status, and other relevant information
