Job description

The Outreach / Women's Ministry Administrator plays a vital role in supporting, organizing and advancing the ministry operations of the Outreach Department and Women's Department. This position provides comprehensive administrative, and strategic support by organizing and reporting on events and on-going outreach efforts and women's meetings and events, overseeing Outreach and Women's ministry budgets and expenditures as well as ensuring that these ministries are in compliance with all required processes and procedures under the leadership of the Outreach Pastor, Women's Pastor and with direction from the Ministry Administrator.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ministry Responsibilities
  • Participates in all EMIC staff meetings, trainings, staff prayer, chapels and services.
  • May be called upon to support all EMIC ministries as needed.

Administrative & Operational Responsibilities
  • Administrates the planning, organizing, and execution of outreach and women's events and recurring initiatives.
  • Ensures all requests necessary for outreach and women's ministry initiatives are timely and properly communicated to the appropriate departments and utilizing the required systems.
  • Oversees ministry budgets and expenditures in order to operate within budgeted guidelines.
  • Takes direction from the Ministry Administrator on all streamlined processes.
  • Provides direct administrative support to the Outreach Pastor and Women's Pastor.
  • Maintains ministry records including communication logs, calendars, church management software data, and operational documentation.
  • Oversees Outreach and Women's Ministry administrative systems and collaborates with teams to execute workflow efficiency and clarity.
  • Keeps watch on Outreach and Women's Pastor's calendars and emails to ensure department maintains operations and communications while Outreach Pastor is in the field and Women's Pastor is ministering to others.

Communication
  • Communicates expense trends, budget considerations, and strategic observations to the Outreach Pastor, Women's Pastors and Ministry Administrator as needed.
  • Reports on initiatives progress, timelines, milestones, and completions.
  • Utilizes Teams, email, messaging, and documentation systems to communicate effectively and maintain transparent records.

Requirements
Education:
  • Minimum of HS Diploma or GED.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience:
  • Is proficient with computer skills and software tools necessary to manage
  • Clear communicator
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • High-level administrator and organizer

EQUIPMENT TO BE USED:
  • Computer, Telephone, Audio Equipment, Printer, Copier, Fax Machine

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, calculators, telephones and other office equipment
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
  • Requires normal range of vision
  • Must be able to pull, push, stand, sit, stoop, bend, reach, move or carry equipment
