Job description

We are seeking a Senior Oracle WMS (Logfire) Cloud Application Architect to own the end-to-end architecture, design governance, and delivery leadership for Oracle WMS (Logfire) Cloud across distribution operations. This role defines scalable and supportable solution patterns, leads implementation and optimization of WMS capabilities, and partners with operations, IT, and external vendors to deliver reliable outcomes for inbound and outbound execution. The Architect serves as a senior technical and functional leader throughout the lifecycle—discovery, solution design, configuration, integration, testing, cutover, hypercare, and steady-state support—while establishing standards that enable future rollouts to additional locations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Ensure design and implementation of WMS software

Define overall architecture

Conduct end-user training.

Develop and execute test plans, conduct CRP, SIT and UAT.

Work with third party integrations such as Parcel Carrier integrations and LTL/TL freight management application via WMS (Logfire) Cloud APIs.

Provide training on how a facility is configured in WMS to know the WMS system function

Develop WMS label printing and Web Report tools

Implement Supply -Chain-Management solutions and WMS application impact on these processors

Support continuous -business-process-improvement projects.

Support WMS quarterly system upgrades.

Support and documentation of processors and incidents for fanatical audit controls

Independently manage new WMS site implementation projects

Independently manage project budgets, human capital and project funds

Work on WMS application integration, including the integration to the ERP application and build future enhancements.

 REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree.

8+ years of experience with Oracle WMS (Logfire) Cloud and 10+ years of experience in Product Distribution (SCM) related Information Technology.

15+ years of experience in implementing WMS functionalities such as Order Management, Wave Planning, Pick-pack-and-ship, Load Planning, Shipping documentation, Replenishment, Product Receiving (PO/IB Shipments), Putaway, Slotting, Cross docking, Labeling etc.

Support existing WMS (Logfire) Cloud installations.

Must have full understanding of WMS (Logfire) Cloud inbound and outbound functionalities.

Basic understanding of existing WMS (Logfire) Cloud Label Generator Product.

Basic understanding of existing WMS (Logfire) Cloud Wen Gen 1 & 2 Product.

Basic understanding of WMS (Logfire) Cloud APIs.

Basic understanding of WMS (Logfire) Cloud configurations.

Basic understanding of OTM

Proficient understanding of the role of an ERP application and integration points to WMS (Logfire) Cloud.

Proficient understanding of SQL (TOAD/MS SQL tools).

Minimal travel.

Special qualifications or skills

Ability to independently perform complex analysis of business processes, data, or technical solutions

Admin experience in support of WMS solutions

Experience in technical troubleshooting and problem solving, in addition to technical data analysis, functional design, modeling and software testing
