Position Summary: Gear Up is seeking a hands-on, experienced Supply Chain leader to oversee product flow optimization in and out of our decoration fulfillment centers. Working with trade partners and carriers you will ensure on-time delivery, within budget. You will work cross-functionally with merchandising, warehouse and the production teams to ensure apparel is available for rapid fulfillment to meet customer demand.
Responsibilities include:
• Perform daily track and trace for critical shipments.
• Coordinate LTL deliveries to our distribution centers.
• Generate bills of lading and coordinate outbound LTL and FTL shipments.
• Create and file export documentation.
• Manage and report on small parcel on time metrics.
• File carrier claims for lost packages.
• Audit freight bills and recoup overcharges for missed SLAs.
• Review regional small parcel routing and manage shipping software platform to maximize delivery performance and cost.
• Manage ERP driven product storage and put away strategies.
• Coordinate seasonal product rotations and apparel staging for efficient apparel movement within the facilities.
• Review and report volume performance against carrier agreements.
• Document, communicate and train the shipping teams on best practices.
Requirements
Required Skills, Qualifications & Education:
• At least 5 years experience in a high volume small parcel environment.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in export shipping and compliance is required.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable ERP.
• Experience with configuring rules based SaaS shipping platforms.
• WMS implementation experience.
• Proficient in MS Office; Excel and Word.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to learn and navigate new processes and computer applications.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher is desirable.
