Network Engineer (AMR / Industrial Wireless)

North Point Technology is hiring Network Engineers to support the deployment of Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) systems across a global manufacturing footprint. This role is ideal for an experienced network professional who can design, deploy, and optimize industrial wireless networks in complex, production-critical environments.


Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and support wireless network infrastructure across manufacturing sites
  • Conduct wireless site surveys to assess coverage, performance, and environmental constraints
  • Install, configure, and optimize wireless networks to support AMR system operations
  • Deploy and support Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and Cisco Cyber Vision
  • Perform network testing, tuning, and troubleshooting in live production environments
  • Coordinate with plant IT teams, operations, and external vendors during deployments
  • Develop and maintain standardized documentation for network configurations and processes

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure deployment
  • Strong experience with Cisco networking technologies
  • Hands-on experience with wireless network design, deployment, and optimization
  • Experience with Cisco ISE (authentication, policy enforcement, segmentation)
  • Experience deploying networks in manufacturing or industrial environments
