Job description

We are looking for a Therapist to join our team! Winners Circle Group of Texas provides Targeted Case Management and Mental Health Rehabilitation Services to adults and children within several locations across Texas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver virtual therapy to children, adolescents and young adultsย 
  • Maintain a full caseloadย 
  • Develop an individual service plan tailored to meet the clients individual service needs
  • Assess, diagnose and treat children, adolescents and young adults with behavioral and emotional disturbances using the DSM-5/ICD-10 criteria
  • Coordinate with treatment team members and the family in the provision of services to meet the goals developed in the individual service plan.
  • Provide appropriate documentation for service delivery including treatment goals, progress notes and billing and submit documentation as specified by organizational policies.
  • Conduct clinical assessments to determine diagnostic eligibility and treatment needs within the priority population as needed (if caseload is not at capacity)
  • Monitor client progress, assessing intervention effectiveness for those with severe and persistent mental illness
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulatory guidelines, and complete reporting/training accurately and timely
  • Participate in monthly clinical meetings
  • Meet with the Clinical Director to review cases, share updates, and collaboratively address any challenges or concerns.
  • Conduct quarterly trainings as needed for nonclinical staff
  • Assist with development of mental health/community resource directory for each site.

Requirements, preferences and qualificationsย 

  • Must maintain CANS and ANSA certifications
  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA): Must hold an active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of Texas
  • Master's Degrees in social work, counseling, psychology
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
  • Experience in play therapy and knowledge of trauma informed practices
  • Experience working with children, adolescents and young adults
