Position Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for administrative support in the day-to-day projects and activities of the marketing department.

Overview of Responsibilities
• Support in all marketing related projects, tasks, initiatives, and activities as needed
• Research, create and propose posts with engaging and relevant information on social media platforms such as: Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
• Aid in guerilla-style marketing methods to attract, generate, and secure new and relevant business opportunities
• Collaborates and participates in regularly scheduled meetings with department leaders to coordinate all projects, ensure consistent messaging, and make sure the team is up to speed on marketing details
• Helps coordinate material distribution for philanthropic requests including gift-giving and auction requests, and charitable donations
• Assists with creating and writing promotional concepts
• Assists in the creation of Photographic and Videographic Content, for both social and print media
• Assists in managing the "Influencer Program", which includes continuous outreach, managing and supplying a clear and legible calendar, and hosting them on-site: Local celebrities, athletes, bloggers, influencers
• Business development and outreach to the following:
• Hotel Concierges, doormen, bellhops, valets, etc.
• Local business and residential areas
• Partnerships: Research upcoming and prominent calendar events in the area to present possible cross-promotion, co-branding, advertising, etc.
• Collateral Outreach: Researches and locates potential areas to post visual collateral and advertisement
• All other reasonably assigned projects and tasks
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing, and/or equivalent relevant experience
• Professional and effective interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficient computer skills
• Must be detail oriented with particular strength in time management and organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and produce deliverables within strict deadlines
• Excellent listening and presentation skills
• Appreciation and general understanding of the music, food, and wine business
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays as needed
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; stand and walk regularly
• Must be able to travel as needed
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Marketing, Communications, Visual Arts, or related field
