Job description

Successful candidate will be personable, engaging, and highly energetic individual with a passion for customer service. Excellent representation of the LaBelle Winery brand is imperative for success. Team mentality is a must.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engage guests with our welcoming, educational winery with a huge emphasis on customer service; each customer’s experience must be exceptional, dazzling and and memorable.
  • Consistent delivery of outstanding customer service; LaBelle Winery believes it’s the small details that makes experiences memorable.
  • Responsible for providing the first line of information to the customer by greeting, directing and answering questions regarding our wines, food, merchandise, history, and facility.
  • Responsible for greeting guests
  • Responsible for answering phones
  • Responsible for acquiring a strong comprehension of our wines; descriptions, pairings, etc.
  • Serve samples of wine to customers in both small and large settings.
  • Conducting tours of LaBelle Winery
  • Provide travel and hotel information to guests
  • Stocking and pricing merchandise
  • Handling routine purchasing transactions including operating cash registers
  • Responsible for expanding wine education.
  • Wine and vineyard club promotion and sales- build strong customer relations for returns, and to develop community recognization.
  • Retaining/memorizing the menu, and provide recommendations for food, wine or beverages.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen and the staff for a prompt and above satisfactory experience.
  • Maintain dining ambiance with an enthusiastic manner.
  • Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
  • Strong sales- driven mentality is imperative. Tastings must be profitable.
  • Must be able to lift 45lbs regularly
  • Must have ability to tolerate physical activity including standing for long periods, bending, walking and other physical activity.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
  • Strong work ethic with the willingness to take initiative
  • Able to handle money accurately and operate a point of sale system
  • Team work

Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Bartending and/or server experience (2 + years)
  • Sales experience (2+)
  • Food service certificate preferred 
Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, weekends/holidays necessary
