Trump Winery is looking for a professional, energetic, enthusiastic individual to assist with the management of our Tasting Room, Restaurant and Retail Specialty Shop. The Tasting Room Assistant Manager will assist in the oversight of the development and management of a productive, professional, results-oriented tasting room team and will continue to refine and deliver the ultimate guest experience. Success will be measured in guest traffic, engagement with the hospitality community and overall growth of Tasting Room revenues, including Wine Club.

Position Title: Assistant Tasting Room ManagerLocation: Trump Winery in Charlottesville, VA - 15 minutes south of Charlottesville city limits; 20 minutes north of Scottsville, VA Hours: Full-time - on site, non - exempt, 40 hours per week, weekend and holiday availability requiredWage: Estimated at $50,000- $65,000/year (base pay plus tips) Our Comprehensive Benefits Include: Health Coverage: We cover 80% of the employee premium on our base medical plan and 40% for dependents. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Oversee all day-to-day tasting room operations including wine service, retail, and food and beverage execution Encourage a fast-paced, gracious, and highly productive team 'culture' that is focused on making the guest experience the best it can be Assist with management of tasting room staff including scheduling changes, addressing complaints, and resolving problems; serving as Shift Manager as needed Champion a luxury hospitality standard with a focus on personalization and attention to detail Ensure staff are knowledgeable in wine, winemaking, and the Trump Winery brand story Administrative functions of the TR department to include requesting and receiving transfers of merchandise from the warehouse, running reports, conducting and reconcile monthly inventory Ensure merchandising of the specialty shop and tasting room is appealing and set to maximize revenue; organize and execute special promotions; ensure merchandising standards and all visual displays are consistent with the brand Partner with Sales, Marketing, Events, Wine Club, and Culinary teams to drive traffic and revenue Perform Wine and Cider Club tasks, including but not limited to: new member registration, data entry, cancellation requests, accurate record keeping Work closely with Customer Service Specialist and Fulfillment Coordinator on resolving shipping claims REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years of age or older Must be able to work weekends and holidays Positive, professional, detail-oriented, discrete, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Self-directed, motivated, independent and able to take direction; "can do" leadership attitude Outstanding oral and written communication skills; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, and peers Education/Experience: BA or industry related certification/education or related experience.
