1099 Window and Door Sales

Judd's Windows and Doors

Colorado Springs, CO โ€ข On-site

Full-time, Contractor

Job description

Independent Sales Representative (1099) – Windows & Doors

Colorado-Based | Field Sales | Established Client Relationships Required

Judd’s Windows & DoorsAbout Us

Judd’s Windows & Doors is a Colorado window and door distributor focused on providing high-quality products at highly competitive pricing for residential and commercial projects.

Our product offerings include respected manufacturers such as Lincoln Windows and Coeur d’Alene Window Company, with additional product lines continuing to be developed.

Our goal is straightforward: give experienced sales professionals a better product, a better price, and an aggressive compensation opportunity they can take to the customers and contractors they already know.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, Colorado-based independent sales representative with an established client network in the construction, remodeling, window, door, or building-material industries.

This is not an entry-level sales position.

We are specifically looking for someone who already has relationships with builders, general contractors, remodelers, developers, architects, property managers, or other construction professionals who purchase windows and doors.

If you already know the customers, we want to give you the products, pricing, support, and compensation structure to win more of their business.

This is a commission-only 1099 independent contractor opportunity designed for an established sales professional who wants to operate independently and maximize the value of the relationships they have already built.

What Makes This Opportunity Different

Aggressive compensation. Strong products. Competitive pricing. Local operational support.

Our goal is to offer one of the most aggressive compensation opportunities possible for an experienced independent window and door sales professional.

Rather than building a traditional employee sales force with salaries, company vehicles, and layers of sales management, we want successful independent representatives to share directly in the value of the business they generate.

There is no predetermined earnings cap.

For the right salesperson with an established book of business, the opportunity can be significant.

Strong Local Support

Although the sales representative operates independently, the products they sell are supported by an established local glass and construction infrastructure.

Judd’s Windows & Doors works alongside Judd’s Glass & Mirror, a separate affiliated company, which has an established Colorado operation with experienced field personnel and substantial installation and logistical capabilities.

Available local resources include:

  • Experienced window and glass installers
  • Delivery personnel
  • Service and field support
  • Trucks and service vans
  • Trailers and material-handling capabilities
  • Shop and warehouse space
  • Established local construction and glass industry experience

This means an independent sales representative can focus on what they do best — developing relationships and selling projects — while having access to a strong local network capable of supporting the projects they generate.

What We Are Looking For

Qualified candidates should:

  • Live and work in Colorado
  • Have an established local client list or professional network
  • Have existing relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, developers, architects, property managers, or other construction professionals
  • Have experience in windows, doors, construction sales, building materials, remodeling, or a closely related industry
  • Be comfortable developing and managing their own sales opportunities
  • Be capable of meeting customers and visiting projects throughout their market
  • Be self-motivated and comfortable operating as an independent sales professional

Applicants without an established Colorado customer network are unlikely to be a fit for this opportunity.

Sales Activities

Independent representatives may:

  • Develop sales opportunities through their existing professional relationships and independently developed customers
  • Build new relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, developers, and property managers
  • Promote available window and door product lines
  • Meet with customers and evaluate project needs
  • Prepare quotes and proposals using available quoting resources
  • Submit orders for processing and approval
  • Coordinate product ordering and delivery requirements
  • Maintain familiarity with available products, options, and pricing

Independent representatives determine their own schedules, prospecting methods, sales strategies, and methods of managing their customer relationships.

Products & Resources

Independent representatives may receive access to:

  • Lincoln Windows
  • Coeur d’Alene Window Company
  • Additional available window and door product lines
  • Manufacturer configuration and quoting resources
  • Product literature and specifications
  • Pricing resources
  • Optional quoting and customer-management tools
  • Local logistical and installation resources when applicable

Resources are provided to facilitate quoting, sales, and order processing and are not intended to control the representative's schedule or day-to-day business activities.

Compensation

Commission Only | 1099 Independent Contractor

We intend for compensation to be one of the strongest reasons an established salesperson considers this opportunity.

  • Aggressive commission structure
  • Paid on qualifying completed and collected sales
  • No predetermined earnings cap
  • Significant earning opportunity for representatives with an established book of business
  • Compensation structure discussed directly with qualified candidates

If you already have the relationships and can bring the opportunities, we want to make it financially worthwhile for you to bring those opportunities to Judd’s Windows & Doors.

Independent Contractor Relationship

This opportunity is offered as an independent contractor (1099) sales relationship, not an employee position.

Independent representatives operate as self-employed professionals and determine their own schedules, sales methods, prospecting activities, customer-development strategies, and business operations.

Representatives are responsible for their own taxes, ordinary business expenses, transportation, phone, equipment, insurance, and other obligations associated with operating an independent business unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The relationship is non-exclusive. Representatives may conduct other business and represent or sell other non-conflicting products or services, subject to confidentiality obligations and the Independent Sales Representative Agreement.

Judd’s Windows & Doors retains responsibility for final product pricing and availability, credit approval where applicable, acceptance of orders, manufacturer ordering, and other company business decisions.

Interested?

If you are an experienced Colorado construction, window, door, or building-material sales professional with an established customer network, we would like to talk.

Tell us about your industry experience, the Colorado markets you currently serve, and the types of customers and projects you work with.

Bring the relationships. We'll bring competitive products, pricing, local support, and an aggressive compensation opportunity.

Requirements

Prior window and door sales experience required.

An established local network of builders, contractors, remodelers, or other construction professionals is required.

Benefits

• Commission-only structure with uncapped earning potential

• Operate independently and manage your own schedule

• Access to respected window manufacturers including Lincoln Wood Products and Coeur d’Alene Windows

• Quoting and ordering support through company systems

• Ability to build and grow your own book of business

• Competitive commission opportunities for experienced window and door professionals
