About the RoleThis is a REMOTE role! We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working out of their home office.The Senior Windchill Solution Architect is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, systems, and solutions. Their primary focus is on creating functional and efficient software solutions to meet specific business needs or challenges. You are proficient at coding and programming during the software development lifecycle. You will act as a liaison between them and ArcherGreyโ€™s technical teams by translating complex technical solutions to fulfill business solutions while mitigating risks.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, testing, and support of PTC Windchill solutions to meet client needs.
  • Guide and mentor development teams to achieve both functional and technical excellence.
  • Build and customize Windchill extensions and integrations (e.g., CAD tools, Change Objects, BOMs, Parts, Documents, Effectivity).
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain Windchill environments, ensuring system reliability and performance.
  • Plan and execute upgrades, data migrations, and integration strategies from legacy systems.
  • Conduct gap analyses and provide recommendations for data cleansing, preparation, and migration best practices.
  • Propose and architect high-level PLM solutions that enhance product development and collaboration.
  • Define and implement rigorous software testing procedures to ensure system quality and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as a thought leader introducing innovative Windchill approaches that strengthen client success and business growth.

  • 5+ yearsโ€™ experience with PTC Windchill and Windchill APIs
  • Strong Java and JSP programming skills
  • Hands-on experience with Windchill 11.1 or later versions
  • Proven consulting experience designing and delivering enterprise PLM solutions
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with system upgrades, data migration, and integration projects
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government-issued security clearance is required.
