Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Windchill PDMLink Architect to lead solution design and customizations, managing upstream CAD integrations and downstream SAP/ERP integrations within an enterprise environment.
Required Skills
  • 10+ years in Windchill PLM; minimum 3 years as Architect
  • 7+ years in PDMLink configuration and customization (v11.x / v12)
  • 5+ years defining independent architectures and driving projects
  • Expertise in PDMLink - Lifecycle, OIR, ACLs, BOM, Change Management, CAD Data Management
  • Hands-on experience with upstream CAD integrations - Creo, CATIA, or NX
  • Experience with downstream SAP ERP 6.0 / SAP S/4HANA integration
  • Proficient in Java, JSP, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, Info*Engine, Web Services
  • Strong Oracle DB, SQL, and PL/SQL knowledge

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end Windchill PDMLink solution architecture and implementation
  • Translate business requirements into flexible, modular, and scalable technical solutions
  • Identify gaps and define disposition plan - configuration, process workaround, or custom development
  • Establish customization standards - Actions, Validators, Listeners, Workflows, ACLs, OIRs
  • Act as SME across PLM process domains: Change Management, BOM, Product Structure, and Supplier Management
  • Design and govern upstream CAD and downstream SAP/ERP integrations
  • Review code, govern deployments, and manage multi-environment configuration via GIT
  • Support QA, SIT, UAT, and go-live activities
  • Mentor and guide the development team
