Description
At Willamette View, you'll contribute to the ethos of "Inspiring the Art of Living Well" for our active resident community, playing a key role in helping individuals lead rich and fulfilling lives. If you appreciate the importance of personal relationships and making a meaningful impact on the lives of others, then our unique, lively, and progressive senior community is the ideal place for you.
What is the Food Server experience?
As a Server, it is your responsibility to deliver outstanding customer service to our residents and guests in all dining outlets with the primary goal is to ensure that residents and their guests enjoy an enthusiastic, prompt, and positive dining experience characterized by excellent service. Additionally, in this role, you will be expected to:
  • Attend daily shift meetings.
  • Develop the ability to memorize menu items, including describing at least three main ingredients and the method of preparation for each item.
  • Effectively communicate this information to residents and guests and employ suggestive selling techniques when appropriate.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, demonstrating safe work practices, and promptly identify and report any unsafe or hazardous work conditions.

What are the job qualifications?
  • Must be 16 years or older
  • Must have a Food Handler Certification prior to starting
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
