Job description

The Counter Sales Support Rep. is a valued member of the EDCO Products Distribution team. This full-time, non-exempt position is based out of the Hopkins, MN Location and reports to the 1st Shift Supervisor. This is a 1st shift Warehouse Supervisor with normal working hours of 7:00 am โ€“ 4:30 pm (Some Overtime Necessary). This position is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and supporting the EDCO Sales and Distribution teams. Success in this position will be defined by the ability to provide excellent service while ensuring outbound orders and shipments are accurate, organized, on time and reported on.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary facilitator for will call orders placed at the loading dock.
  • Greets all customers with enthusiasm in a professional manner.
  • Fully processes all orders (Will Call and Returns) to required set standards and guide the customer through the process.
  • Coordinates the delivery of orders, utilizing couriers when applicable.
  • Physically and systematically pulls small will call orders for delivery.
  • Provides Warehouse associates with accurate information and prioritization of efforts to streamline pull times and assists them when able.
  • Invoices all will call and courier orders completing all necessary steps and paperwork.
  • Organizes and monitors all areas of the will call orders and Dock.
  • Utilizes good communication (Written and verbal) to assist other team members to resolve customer service issues in a timely manner.
  • Keeps the will call and Dock areas safe, clean and in good condition.
  • Reports all discrepancies communicating them to the leadership team and works to resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates the ability to operate necessary company equipment within EDCO Guidelines.
  • Follow all company rules, regulations, standards and guidelines.
