The Whiskey River Saloon is currently hiring an energetic and outgoing Retail Associate to work in our merch store!
As the smiling face of the Whiskey River Merch Store, the Retail Merch Associate is responsible for dealing with any and all customer questions about the products and services the company offers and is expected to be continuously updating their knowledge to best serve our customers.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays. Items must be kept neat and orderly to ensure the Guest has a great experience while shopping for Whiskey River merch. Each guest should receive an experience that exceeds their expectations.
Retail Associate Responsibilities:
  • Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
  • Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
  • Excellent product knowledge.
  • Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
  • Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.

Retail Merch Associate Requirements:
  • Smiling, friendly, and neat appearance.
  • The 'gift of gab' ... the Merch Associate must love to talk to people!
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must have experience ordering, displaying and inventorying merchandise.
  • Must have adequate eyesight to visibly discern neat and orderly displays and store cleanliness.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25lbs periodically.
