Position Purpose

The Regional Account Manager has responsibility for revenue growth in the defined geographic territory based on sales of aftermarket parts; equipment modernization programs (EMP), service contracts, and New Equipment Sales. Strategic territory management is required to grow sales revenue, increase market share and convert competitor installations.

Job Function

  • Setting sales goals, developing sales plans, and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • In the case of local products/services, maintain an accurate cost calculation / price database with the support of purchasing, external suppliers, and service teams as necessary.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively communicate with inside sales, engineering, applications, service technicians, and other Norican brand representatives and other personnel in your daily and long-term strategic plan to grow the business.
  • Working closely with product development, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve sales processes, methods, and approaches.
  • Promote other Norican lines of business whenever feasible. When allowed by the customer, share relevant leads and contact/project details with other Line of Businesses (LoBs) for follow-up and qualification.
  • On-time submittal of expense reports.
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience  

  • Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Three years of Outside Industrial Sales.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office; CRM Software, Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred, and reading AutoCAD drawings.
  • Licenses: Valid Passport and Driver’s License in good standing.
  • Other Skills - WBG: Must be familiar with Blast Equipment and its operation or equivalent mechanical experience.
