Job description

Position Purpose:
Responsible for loading and unloading the wheelabrator and stacking the parts from the shaker table into bin. Weighs bins and properly fills out tags.
Hourly rate range: $17.25 - $20.35 (add $0.90 for 2nd shift)
Essential Functions:
  • Pulls tag off boxes going into wheelabrator loader
  • Ensures parts and heat codes do not get mixed
  • Guarantees wheelabrator is empty when loading a new box into wheelabrator
  • Stack parts into boxes, weigh the boxes, properly tag the boxes
  • Loads wheelabrator with steel shot when needed
  • Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor

Education and Training:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be able to read and write English
  • Must be able to read a tape measure
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to twist, bend and lift repetitively
  • Ability to stand continuously for 8-12 hours
  • Lift up to 20lbs repetitively
  • Good eye/hand coordination and good motor skills
  • Environmental Conditions
  • Exposure to loud noise
  • Exposure to hot and humid conditions
  • Double hearing protection and eye protection always required
  • Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required
