Job description

THE ROLE
Gotham Greens is seeking a passionate, driven and hardworking individual to work as our Greenhouse Operator in our Greenhouse. Greenhouse Operators are hands-on and require individuals who enjoy rolling up their sleeves.
Prior experience in the natural and organic food industry is a plus, but is not required. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and organized individual to assume a position at a rapidly growing, innovative, disruptive company in the 21st century food system.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Start up and shutdown of TTA
  • Basic troubleshooting of all unit ops
  • Accurate completion of all Operator tasks and documentation.
  • Minimize downtime during breakdowns and changeovers.
  • Stock Raw Materials after shutdown and as needed to complete production.
  • Basic sanitation tasks, as needed or requested, to keep equipment clean and operational.
  • Basic troubleshooting of TTA equipment.
  • Communicate clearly and operate lines with a sense of urgency.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
