Job description

THE ROLE
Gotham Greens is looking for Food Safety and Quality Control Technicians to support our Operations teams. The ideal candidate has experience working in agriculture or food production. This role will report directly to the Assistant Plant Manager, with support from the Food Safety & Quality Assurance team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Builds Relationships with Key Area Leaders
  • Represents FSQA at Daily Operations Meetings
  • Attends Food Safety Team Meetings
  • Leads Quarterly Internal-Audits in tandem with site leadership
  • Ensures that site sanitation teams are being supported
  • Communicates Food Safety Concerns to Department Leadership
  • Works closely with the FSQA Manager to maintain consistent in food safety and quality programs across all sites
  • Implements Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly enviornmental monitoring programs
  • Assists with maintenance of records, retention, and storage/destruction of company documents.
  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports based on deadlines - utilizes MSOffice, Excel, Word, PPT, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Plant Manager and FSQA Manager, as required to meet need of the Gotham Greens facility.
