Department Resin Utility

FLSA Hourly Non-exempt

Shift 12 hour Swing/Rotate

Pay Rates:

Starting: $20.50, 1 Year $23.50,
Top out at progression year 3: $26.00

Reports to Resin Lead Operator

Location Decatur AL USA

Expectations

Personal safety and clear understanding of safety processes and procedures. Monitor and evaluate process variables, sample results and make changes and/ or corrections to maintain optimum control, efficiency and safety. Analyze problems or deviations and insure timely corrective actions are taken. Assist in other areas within the department as needed.

Responsibility

Demonstrate leadership in ensuring compliance of ESSH statutory requirements, policies, rules & guidelines. Participate in safety audits & review meetings, ensure implementation of safety committee decisions.

Collaborate with ESSH resources to promote hazards recognition

Follow safety procedures for machine and activities and perform safe operational activities in order to avoid safety incidents

Operating machines in the shift as per budget for availability, quality and performance

Participating in daily safety talk and production meeting with shift manpower

Preparation of additive batches as per SOP and assuring quality parameters of all dosing raw materials

Coordination with film plant for resin conveying

Coordination with filter cleaning agency for filter readiness. Execution of CLIT (Cleaning, lubrication, Inspection, tightening) as per schedule. End to end waste handling within the shift. Waste disposal at designated place. Highlight and attend abnormalities (process, product, machine) during shift.

Optimum use and updating process inventory stock for consumables, PPEs, tools, spares, lubricants and shut down items to Shift in-charge. Executing filter changeover process as per written procedure and allocated time period or as and when required.
