General Responsibilities

Since 1983, Vehrs Distributing has been on a mission to create and deliver the finest premium wine and spirits portfolio in the Pacific Northwest. As we expand our offerings to include non-alcoholic beverages and reach more clients in the Western Washington region, we're looking for an experienced, results-driven Data Analyst. Reporting to the VP of Commercial Development, this role provides data analytical support to help provide support and direction to company strategic decision making.


Essential Functions

  • Analyze sales revenue and volume against forecasts.
  • Identify market trends by product type, geographic area, market sector, and other relevant factors.
  • Identify opportunities for sales growth by discovering underserved markets.
  • Maintain awareness of brand performance to identify underperforming products.
  • Provide additional data analytic support as required for Commercial Development.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.
  • Competent with mobile devices, email, and basic computer applications.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and scripting.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field; equivalent sales/distribution experience considered.
  • Wine/spirits knowledge required.

Compensation

This is a full-time salary non-exempt position. Total compensation range is $75,000-$85,000.ย

  • This position starts at 80 hours of paid vacation per year. Our tiered accrual schedule increases based on seniority, capping at 160 hours after six years of service.
