Job description

Join a Team That’s Changing Lives – One Supplement at a Time!
Wellness Store Sales Associate – Natural Healthy Concepts (NHC)
Appleton, WI

Work With Purpose. Thrive With Us.

At NHC (Natural Healthy Concepts), we’re not your average vitamin shop—we’re a passionate crew of health enthusiasts on a mission to help people live better naturally. Whether it’s guiding someone toward the right probiotic or celebrating their journey toward better wellness, what we do matters.

We believe in making an impact. Not just on our customers' health—but on their day. Their confidence. Their lifestyle. And we’re looking for someone awesome like you to be part of that mission.

Here’s Who You Might Be

You love helping people. You light up around good vibes and even better vitamins. You might already be the go-to “natural remedy” person in your friend group. You're energized by meaningful work and love learning about health, nutrition, and wellness. Oh—and you love a team that can work hard and have a little fun while doing it.

Core Values We Actually Live By

While we have an Employee Handbook that spells out a bunch of the specifics of the way we operate (which you’re welcome to review at any time) the way we do things can really be summed up in our Core Values. If you value the following list of things that we value we REALLY need to talk!

  • Renew Lives: We strive to improve lives every day and create lasting impact.
  • Authentic Integrity: We choose honesty, accountability, and doing the right thing—even when it’s hard.
  • Relentless Determination: We face challenges head-on, find solutions, and exceed expectations.
  • Elite Service: We serve with care, provide professional expertise, and consistently deliver meaningful value.

What You'll Be Up To:

  • Chatting with customers and helping them find the right wellness products

  • Running the cash register and navigating tablets/tech like a pro

  • Keeping the store looking fresh, stocked, and ready to impress

  • Lifting, moving, kneeling, and squatting—we call it “paid exercise”

  • Sharing product knowledge and making smart suggestions (hello, upsells!)

  • Contributing to team goals and high-fiving when we hit them

  • Opening and closing the store (like a boss)

  • Joining lunch-and-learns (yep, free food + wellness education = winning)

  • Attending the occasional fun community event to promote NHC

Why You’ll Love It Here:

  • $14.00/hour starting pay

  • Monthly bonus potential of $2.50–$3.50/hour (up to $4/hr)

  • Extra pay for weekends: +$2/hour for Saturdays, +$4/hour for Sundays

  • Employee Discount on our merchandise at 40-50% lower than retail prices, on average, on 20,000+ natural health products

  • 401(k) with 4% company match

  • PTO that grows with your time here

  • Paid holidays

  • YMCA membership discount

  • Perks At Work discount platform

  • Free product samples & education during lunch-and-learns

  • Job stability – health and wellness isn’t going anywhere

  • And most of all—purpose. We help people feel better every single day.

    When You’ll Work:

We’re open 7 days a week, and this role is part-time with hours ranging from 10:00 am to 7:15 pm, with rotating weekend shifts required.

    Store Hours:
    Mon–Fri: 9 AM – 7 PM
    Sat: 9 AM – 5 PM
    Sun: 10 AM – 4 PM
You may be scheduled up to 15 minutes before or after hours for open/close.

    What You’ll Need:

    • Be at least 18 years old
    • Passion for wellness and nutrition
    • Excellent customer service and retail skills
    • Positive, “can-do” energy
    • Authorization to work in the U.S.
    • Background check and drug screen (we’re all about safety)

A conviction does not automatically disqualify you. We believe in second chances and fair evaluations.

    Ready to Join the Team?
If this sounds like your kind of gig—and your kind of people—we’d love to meet you. Apply today and let’s make wellness happen together.
