As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for the following:

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgical procedures, specifically tailored to each patient’s situation.
• Implement therapies using various techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring pain management and mobility improvement for patients.
• Carefully track and document patient progress, responses to treatments, and ongoing assessments to ensure continuity of care and the adjustment of therapeutic goals.
• Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and assistive devices to foster independence in daily activities.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops, training sessions, and networking with other professionals in the field.
• Innovate and adapt treatment plans based on re-evaluation and patient feedback, leveraging both creativity and clinical expertise in response to patients' evolving needs.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population consisting of children, adults, and seniors facing various rehabilitation needs. Whether it’s recovery from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, or sports-related injuries, each day brings the opportunity to make a substantial difference in patient lives. Your expertise will support clients in achieving optimal recovery outcomes and enhancing their overall quality of life.

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy license to practice in the state of Virginia.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively relay treatment information to patients and families.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools to document and track patient progress.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care and team collaboration.
• Although prior work experience is beneficial, recent graduates are encouraged to apply and will receive mentorship.

While candidates with a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting are preferred, we value passion and a dedication to patient care that can be demonstrated by graduates. A background in specific areas of rehabilitation, including sports medicine or geriatric care, may enhance your application.
