Position Overview

Bloomin’ Blinds of Birmingham is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Installer to join our team. This role involves installing a variety of interior and exterior window treatments including blinds, shades, shutters, and exterior screens. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install interior window coverings (blinds, shades, shutters) with precision
  • Install exterior products such as outdoor shades and screens
  • Measure, adjust, and ensure proper fit and function of all products
  • Provide excellent customer service during installations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle (if applicable)
  • Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous installation, construction, or handyman experience preferred (but willing to train the right person)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work on ladders
  • Dependable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
