Job description

Job Details:

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

All duties as assigned by supervisor

Must be willing to work overtime and weekends

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work under minimum supervision

  • Must be able to work in wet & cold conditions

  • Must keep work area clean

  • Must be able to use a knife/scissors

  • Must be able to stand throughout 8-9 hour shift

  • Must be able to maintain line speed

  • Must be able to lift as needed up to 40 pounds

  • Must be able to do minimal stopping and bending

  • All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal safety and food safety.

Compensation: 17.15/hr.

Hours: 2nd Shift

Other Hiring Criteria:

  • Accepting Rehires: Yes

  • 3 x Rule: If you have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times you are ineligible for rehire.

  • Rehire waiting period: 6 months or 180 days.
