Job Description:

Kanki House of Steaks & Sushi is looking for friendly, hard-working cooks who will provide an excellent dining experience for our guests. Kanki is more than a restaurant; it's the best-tasting show in town. The combination of our fun atmosphere, entertainment, and delicious food makes us the region's premier special occasion restaurant. Responsibilities:

  • Cook menu items as ordered
  • Follow directions from Head Chef
  • Keep your working area clean and sanitary
  • Have a complete knowledge of all recipes and food items made
  • Must take be able to take direction and redirection well
  • Must have a passion for cooking great food
  • Must be 18 or older
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have reliable transportation, phone, and e-mail (Deal Breaker)

THE KANKI EXPERIENCE
When you visit of our Raleigh-Durham restaurants, you'll be greeted by our friendly staff and seated at a large table surrounding one of our teppan grills.
Next, you'll choose drinks, starters, sushi, hibachi and more from our extensive menu. All teppanyaki dishes will be made-to-order, and our chefs will prepare your hibachi chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon or scallops, along with rice and a selection of veggies, right in front of your eyes.
Of course, half of the fun is watching our chefs as they expertly chop, dice and cook your meal with the flip of a knife, providing mealtime entertainment your whole table is sure to enjoy!
