The Teppanyaki Chef learns and perfects the art of teppan cooking, using strong culinary skills and theatrical flair to prepare mouth-watering dishes in an entertaining and professional manner.  This role combines culinary execution, food safety, and showmanship to produce high-quality meals in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals at the teppan grill according to Kobe standards
  • Engage guests through professional and entertaining cooking presentation
  • Follow proper cooking techniques and food safety procedures
  • Communicate with servers to ensure accurate and timely service
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized grill station

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knife skills and confidence cooking in front of guests
  • Demonstrates integrity, teamwork, hardwork, respect, and a positive attitude
  • Able to communicate clearly and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and/or move about the workspace for extended periods.
  • Must be able to frequently move and position equipment or materials weighing up to 15 lbs and reach or adjust items at various heights.
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years old
