Job description

Travel CT Technologist (CT Tech)

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced CT Technologist to join a rehabilitation and long-term acute care setting. This role involves performing CT and diagnostic X-ray procedures while delivering high-quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience
  • First-time travelers welcome
  • BLS certification required
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • ARRT (CT) certification required

Schedule:

  • 4x10 Day Shifts
  • Primarily Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Weekend coverage required
  • On-call requirement of 2–3 nights per week

Skills & Experience:

  • CT imaging experience required
  • Diagnostic X-ray experience required
  • Experience with older CT scanner platforms preferred
  • Experience operating portable X-ray units and C-arm equipment preferred
  • Ability to work independently in a low-volume setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and X-ray examinations according to established protocols
  • Ensure patient safety and image quality standards are maintained
  • Operate imaging equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
