The Bedford County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for the position of full time School Resource Officer (SRO). School Resource Officers play a vital role in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for students and staff. As trained law enforcement professionals, SROs provide security, prevent threats and respond to emergencies. Beyond safety, they build positive relationships with students, serve as mentors and promote conflict resolution. Their presence fosters trust and ensures a proactive approach to school safety, helping to create a secure atmosphere where education can thrive.
