Position Summary            

Responsible for developing the overall master schedule for the projects. This includes highly complex computerized critical-path schedules for projects. As such, the position requires a breadth of understanding of complex infrastructure projects and the multiple disciplines involved in project planning, siting, permitting, design, construction and closeout.

 Key Tasks and Responsibilities                                 

·         Develop detailed project schedule for assigned project. 

·         Coordinate closely with the engineers and superintendents to develop activities and durations that align with the bid and Contract requirements.

·         Coordinate with subcontractors to develop schedule activities for subcontractor work to be incorporated into the project schedule

·         Review Plans, Specifications, and all Contract documents to develop an independent analysis of all scheduling requirements

·         Generate multiple schedule scenarios in coordination with the estimating department in order to identify potential time and cost savings

·         Serve as technical expert for P6 and provide support to office personnel as needed

·         Lead a team of schedulers to maintain project schedule

·         Maintains knowledge of Traylor Bros company values and strategic plan

·         Support published corporate policies

·         Perform additional assignments per management’s direction

Skills and Abilities

·         Integrity, tenacity, demonstrated ability to succeed and the attitude to do what it takes to meet and/or exceed expectations

·         Advanced knowledge of P6 software

·         Strong time management and communication skills

·         Strong ability to work independently and analyze complex construction projects quickly and accurately

Education/Experience

·         Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited institution

·         7-10 years’ construction scheduling experience
